Ngwenya Lodge Resort, Kruger ParkNgwenya Lodge is situated on the southern boundary of one of the biggest and best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Kruger National Park. The River view chalets, set out over two kilometres of prime river frontage, overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of a wide variety of animals as they come to the river to drink. Other chalets, called Dam/Bush view are set back on the property and overlook tranquil dams or bush areas, however game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all. The evergreen river habitat of Ngwenya Lodge provides an excellent setting from which to enjoy great year round game viewing and birding. For the kids there is a games room with pool tables, table tennis and a wide range of board games available. The resort also has a putt-putt course, trampolines, a children’s Jungle gym and tennis courts in addition to five outdoor swimming pools. |

At Ngwenya Lodge you can literally reach out and touch the Kruger National Park because the resort is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking the game reserve from the wild side of the fence. The electrified game fence of the Kruger National Park passes behind Ngwenya, and this effectively incorporates the resort into the game area. This means that you have every opportunity to see all the same species (Big Five included) that occur in the game-rich southeastern section of the Kruger Park without having to leave the lodge.
