Inyanga Village, Natal South CoastSecure and safe with an electrified fence and controlled access, Inyanga Village is situated approximately 87 km south of Durban at Mtwalume on the N2. The village has a fresh water pool and a shared all- weather tennis court. Each Rondavel sleeps 4-6 persons, has it's own garden area, is fully furnished, has a private braai area, TV and DSTV. "Please bring your own smart card." Most of the units are fully fenced and are pet friendly. A beautiful beach with tidal pool is a mere 5 minutes walk away and stretches for miles. The pristine lagoon empties into the sea and makes for safe paddling. June brings the famous Sardine Run- “ The worlds greatest shoal.” Mtwalume is considered one of the best places to observe this annual spectacle. During this Sardine Run, whales can be seen migrating north for their calving. Later in the year they can be seen returning, accompanied by their newborn calves. |

About Mtwalume... Mtwalume is a small village situated on the KZN South Coast, approximately 87km south of Durban or half way between Durban and the Wild Coast Sun Coastal Casino Resort (both about 45 minutes drive in each direction). The bigger towns, Scottburgh and Hibberdene have bigger shopping centres and are just a few minutes drive down the road Mtwalume is mainly a holiday and pleasure fishing village. The general appearance of the village is that of a rural wooded environment, with many indigenous flora and fauna. The main feature is the Mtwalume River which forms a beautiful lagoon where it enters the sea.
