Swim with the dolphins in their own environment (conditions permitting), take an educational boat tour of the Ocean Wilderness Trail from Salmon Bay, take an exciting low altitude flight over Ballito and the surrounding coast in a piloted microlight, or visit a nearby crocodile breeding farm.

The Hlanganisa Bachelor Units

The Elusive Camel Suites & Bachelor Cottage, Salt Rock

The Elusive Camel is situated in Salt Rock, approximately 100m from Salt Rock Main beach, which offers life guards on duty 7 days a week. Here you can dive or snorkel the beautiful offshore reefs, but if that’s too much then just relax and enjoy the beauty.

The coastline has something for everyone, surfing, fishing, tidal pools, kite flying and more recently para surfing! The Salt Rock Hotel, with its swimming pool, tidal pool and small shopping complex is within walking distance.

Suite 1 sleeps 6-8 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms with one adjoining room, full bathroom with shower, separate toilet, combined living and dining room area, cosy and private garden area with braai.

Suite 2 sleeps 6 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms full bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, open planned lounge and kitchenette. There is a stunning balcony shaded by magestic palm trees that give you the feeling of being close to nature.

Suite 3 sleeps 6 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms , full bathroom, bath and shower with separate toilet, large open planned lounge and kitchenette leading out to your private patio area, with braai facilities.

The Cottage, nestled in the back garden under huge palm trees, is a “small” 1 bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet, combined living room and kitchenette. A sleeper couch allows for a visitor or small children. Very private garden and braai area.

The Ocean View Villa, Chaka's Rock

Ocean View Villa is situated in Chaka’s Rock and has both Self Catering and Bed & Breakfast facilities with bar area, sun deck and communal swimming pool situated 50m from Thompsons Bay Beach.

Bachelor 1 & 2 sleeps 2 persons. These open planned air conditioned units are fully equipped with combined kitchenette, bedroom and small lounge, separate toilet and shower. These units have magnificent sea views and a braai area on the balcony. Select D.S.T.V. channels

Unit 3 sleeps 6 persons, consists of 2 bedrooms smartly decorated, both en-suite with fully equipped kitchenette. There is air-conditioning, a spacious lounge area opening on to a balcony with stunning sea views. Select D.S.T.V. channels, private braai area, and secure parking for one car.

Unit 4 sleeps 6 persons, consists of 3 bedrooms, full bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and one en-suite, combined dining and lounge area, small kitchenette. Select D.S.T.V. channels, large garden area, with braai facility and air conditioning.

Unit 5 sleeps 7 persons, consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower and toilet, one en-suite, combined dining and lounge area, spacious kitchen, air conditioning, large garden area and braai facility.

Unit 6 sleeps 2 persons. This is an open planned bachelor unit with lounge, dining and kitchen area combined and en-suite bath, shower and toilet.  There are select D.S.T.V channels, a private balcony and braai area.
