Zebra Country Lodge, Mountain Lodge
Mountain Lodge, Zebra Stables, Leopards View and Bush Lodge are
country lodges, located on the Zebra Country Lodge Nature
Reserve just outside Pretoria in the Gauteng Province.
All four lodges offer all the modern
facilities affiliated with top-class lodging and luxury
accommodation, set either in beautiful gardens, or a tranquil
lake setting, high on a mountain and the latter in a natural
setting surrounded by lush indigenous trees.
Facilities and activities include;
nature drives & walks, horse trails, mountain biking, canoeing
and at the Zebra Stables a swimming pool, giant chess board,
pool table & dart board, Ndebele Cultural Village Tours and star

Zebra Country Lodge... Only half an hour’s drive outside Pretoria is a weekend retreat that gives you time away from it all in a peaceful country atmosphere. Aptly named after the zebra in the reserve, the 400 hectare game reserve is also home to giraffe, wildebeest and antelope, which can be viewed on guided open-vehicle game drives, birding safaris and bush walks. Weather conditions A summer rainfall area, days are usually warm to hot with clear blue skies often giving way to brief and sometimes spectacular late afternoon thunderstorms. Winters are generally clear and dry with frosty spells. Maximum temperatures during the summer months ranges from about an average of 25º C to about 27º C, although mid summer can easily reach highs of 30º C +. During the winter months, the temperatures ranges from about 18º C to about 22º C.
